Jakarta is the city where many tourists land for traveling in Indonesia. Everytime I go here, I spend a day in Sunda Kelapa, the old harbour.
I have to say that this city is not my cup of tea...too big...
Yogjakarta is more pleasant,with many students...

they are salak, very common in Indonesia also calle snake fruits, according to their skin, which looks like snake scales.
